The Search for the American Dream (2009)
The Utica/Oneida County Branch NAACP presents Up From the Bottoms (2009) (59 minutes), a documentary film that explores the struggles of African Americans as they migrated from the old south to the prosperous north during the World War II years and beyond. The film will be followed by a short discussion led by Diane Berry, plus tips on how to record your own migration story or family history. Free and open to all. Coffee will be provided. Bring your own snacks and other beverages.​
